Very cool video! How did you teach your cat to play this? The concept of a game can’t be something that a cat would intuitively understand and I don’t see an easy way to non-verbally communicate the goal of a game like this. This has gotten me really curious!
Does that cat play because they expect a reward after a certain number of correct games or do they play because they actually feel satisfaction at solving an intellectual puzzle like this one?

The reason shemissed the second time is you tricked her with the location of the ball. You starting with showing her it was the middle but then as you covered it you moved it over. If you watch it is under the one you led her to think it was under.
She missed because you essentially palmed the ball.
